Nice location , comfy bed, but THE NOISE !
Positive: The location was good - the apartment was clean , bed comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were perfectly functional. Good security and a Lidl downstairs which makes getting supplies easy. Negative: The main problem with the apartment is the NOISE. If you are in any way sensitive to noise this is not for you. As there is no AC you need to have windows open otherwise it is a sauna ! The noise from the traffic on the street is constant 24 hours a day. There is construction over the road - so cranes diggers etc from 6 am ! Many loud cars and motorbikes - and of course emergency vehicles - EAR PLUGS are a must if you want to sleep. The TV is not a smart TV So no Amazon or Netflix - The kitchen is not very well equipped ( no spoons or a decent breadknife ) - the fan supplied did not work at all, no bin in the bathroom , nowhere to hang up wet towels etc. All small issues compared to the Noise.

Firstly, we were not made aware of the building being demolished opposite the property, we were aware that there was no air con, but due to the work outside and the dust in the air we couldn’t feasibly open the windows throughout the day or night. There was a fan in the living room that didn’t turn on and when moved simply collapsed. This on top of other issues, like wall sockets and the shower not working properly ultimately lead to us finding accommodation elsewhere during our stay. Throughout all of this as well the host wasn’t particularly helpful or responsive to our issues. Wouldn’t recommend.

Positive: Das Appartment hat eine sehr gute Lage, vor allem die Anbindung an den ÖPNV und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hervorragend. Negative: Die immensen Abtragungsarbeiten des Kongresszentrums mit Lärm und Feinstaub haben uns absolut nicht gefallen. Wenn wir das vorher gewusst hätten, hätten wir eine andere Wohnung bevorzugt.
